Egyptian Bellydance

Performance and Tuition

20 years experience….

About Me

Egyptian dance is a sensual and feminine expression full of power and grace. It brings confidence and supple strength to the dancer. It is an excellent exercise workout suitable for all ages. For any event, this traditional dance brings glamour and delight.

I have been dancing since I was a child, learning Egyptian dance from my mother. My teaching and professional performance grew organically from 2000 when bellydance became a popular exercise.

I have taught beginners and improvers at Fitness First, Utopia Coffee shop, St Mary’s Hall, EpicQuest Education centre and the Therapy Life Centre in Southend as well as private classes for individuals and small groups. For two years I ran a community club for bellydancers to perform together in Rochford, Essex.

I have danced for Middle Eastern restaurants, weddings, festivals, charity events, children’s education, Bellydance Haflas, and private parties in London, Cambridge and Essex.

Testimonials

“Absolutely amazing!!

Nadia performed at our wedding party and she was fantastic! We loved the entire performance, from the music & dance to the interaction with our guests, everybody was truly entertained. We have recommended her to all our family and friends and we will definitely be booking her again for another party.”

-Khadija Mohammed

“When I found Nadia’s class I had already been dancing a few years so had a basic knowledge of technique. However to be a dancer you need more than just technique, and that was what I learned with Nadia. I went from only being able to follow someone else’s choreography to being a confident solo performer. In these classes I gained technique, including moves I had never seen elsewhere, an understanding of musical interpretation, and a confidence I never thought I’d find. More than that the classes were a fun, friendly and supportive place to be where I have found good friends.”
